The fishing has continued to be tough for me. All the rain and wind has not allowed me to get out much. The days I have been going out I have been catching 1/2 limits of trout. Mainly been fishing the sylvan beach area working pier pilings. The bait of choice has been the maniac mullet.

Hey CR - your web site looks really good. and thanks by the way for posting on my new page. Yea, I can't wait to get out either. Only got out once since that red fish trip - pretty much just to run my Haynie and see Capt. Pereyra's new motor. Thing sure is quiet. Yea, I'm waiting for a break in the weather too and it doesn't look good for the first weekend in March - still it might change. However, that's good, should draw people to the Houston Fishing Show. See where Capt. Alan and Capt. Mike are giving a seminar on Thur. 02/29/2012. Leap year that won't happen again till 2016. I'll go listen - I'm sure I can learn something from the seminars. I'll be trying to get out just about every weekend - lets hook up.
